Therefore, it’s not surprising that many people come to Phuket for a scuba diving holiday or just a diving day trip. After all, who wouldn't want to dive Phuket?
Indepth Day Trip Boat 5 offers the usual Phuket diving to the local dive sites, just with rather different weekly schedule. This is because the Boat does a mixture of 2 and also 3 dive days and currently visits: The Racha Islands, The King Cruiser Shipwreck, Anemone Reef, Shark Point and also Ko Phi Phi. If you weren't aware, you can easily dive Phi Phi from Phuket as there are a variety of dive trips available every day.
A more relaxed start to the day
The owners thinks about their customers as divers on holiday, and thus made a slight different schedule to other boat operators. Hence, the advantage of this day trip is that it meets at Chalong Pier at 09:00, instead of 08:00. Usually departing to the local dive sites around 09:15-09:30. Consequently you will not have to be up at 06:00 to be picked at 07:30 and can enjoy a relaxed start to the day.
Boat 5 is a nice, large boat with plenty of space and also is blessed with a great boat crew. Furthermore, this boat is well-known among local dive instructors for her food. On this Diving Day Trip, you will actually be fed 3 times, this in addition to the fruit and snacks. As the boat leaves at 09:15 the boat, later than most other Phuket dive trips, the boat gets back later than most other dive boats. However, they keep you fed and entertained throughout the day with 3 cooked meals on their Phi Phi trips.
Please note: Boat 5 doesn’t have EANx Nitrox on board, however it can be pre-ordered at 200 THB / tank. Soft Drinks are 30 THB / tin with Beer after the last dive 60 THB.
